Aberlour a'bunadh is a natural cask strength single malt whisky. Taken directly from specially selected sherry casks it is bottled as simply as possible without the use of modern filtering methods or the addition of water. This is a dark, strong mega-sherried Aberlour a'bunadh, matured exclusively in Spanish casks that formerly were home to Oloroso sherry. This is one of the best-value cask strength whiskies available.

The 15 year old expression from the GlenAllachie distillery has an incrediblly dark colour to it, reflecting a heavy wood influence from active ex-sherry casks. The aroma is deeply fruity and spicy, with a rich and dominant notes of raisin, black bun and traditional fruit dumpling, covered in butterscotch sauce. Aromatic sweet spices found on the nose carry on to the palate, developing into a lighter note of orange and banana, then fading to bittersweet dark chocolate.

Situated just outside of Huntly in the highlands of Scotland, the GlenDronach distillery has since 1826 produced a style of whisky that is renowned for its rich, heavy character. Notes of dried fruit (raisins, sultanas) followed by a big dollop of toffee and sherry lead into hints of dark chocolate/cocoa. The GlenDronach 12 is one of the best value for money whiskies that we stock, punching far above its weight.

matured in 100% ex Oloroso Sherry Casks, the Glenfarclas 12 years old is an inviting amber-gold colored whisky that has notes of dried fruit, hints of chocolate, toffee and a lovely spiciness on the finish. A perfect introduction to a richer single malt Scotch whisky, and one that is beloved by fans of the classic Speyside style.

Bottled after 25 years of quiet maturation at the Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside, this whisky is hued amber with dark gold highlights, and has hints of sherry, honey, dark roasted coffee beans along with a distinct oaky spice and nuttiness. The finish is long lasting with a gentle touch of peat smoke in the background. An elegant and complex dram from one of the true greats of the Speyside region.

Glenmorangie's Lasanta sees their 'original' single malt filled in to ex-sherry casks from the sun scorched plains of Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain for an additional two years of extra maturation. These casks add warmth, dried fruit and nutty flavours to the classic honeyed tones of the distillery

This 11 year old Glenrothes is an excellent addition to the Gordon & MacPhail 'Discovery' range. An example of everything you'd want from a sherry cask matured whisky; on the nose there is a distinctive note reminiscent of a box of Sun-Maid raisins and rich toffee. To taste, raspberries and blackberries mingle with hints of cinnamon and charred oak. This whisky boasts a beautifully creamy mouthfeel with a lingering finish of butterscotch sauce, milk chocolate and a suggestion of orange.

Sanaig is predominantly bottled from Ex-Oloroso Sherry Hogshead casks, and this influence is most obvious in its rich colour and flavour. The aroma is classic Kilchoman, with soft cooked fruits, full-bodied peat smoke with citrus notes and a lingering sweetness. A perfect balance of peat smoke and fruity sweetness, somewhere between Machir Bay and Loch Gorm.

This release from Macallan Distillery has been maturing for 12 years exclusively in ex-sherry casks of both European and American oak. The nose offers up notes of vanilla, whilst the palate moves to notes of spice, fruit, and oak. The finish is long with sweet, dried fruits and spice.

Tamdhu Distillery, which sits in the heart of Speyside, produces a classic rich, old fashioned, rounded style. The distillery fills exclusively ex-Sherry casks for the Tamdhu single malt. The twelve year old expression is full of dried fruits, sweet spiciness, and confectionary notes such as old fashioned boiled sweets and Scottish tablet. A very warming, smooth and rounded dram.

Colour rich, deep, golden mahogany. Nose intense and firm. Well structured with silky smooth malty tones - a hint of Oloroso sherry lingers in the background. It shows great finesse, extolling frangrances of orange, marmalade and spice notes. Taste, good attack on the mouth, more elegance than muscle. The aged Oloroso butts smooth its rich, fleshy body with great harmony. Almost a concentrated citric mouth-feel captivates and tantalises the middle part of your tongue. An aftertaste of great abundance rewards the palate. A Highland malt of great distinction.

Selected by Scottish musician Dougie MacLean, in conjunction with Andrew Symington at Edradour Distillery, this 12 year old Edradour carries rich notes of Oloroso sherry casks (dried fruit), peppermint chocolate creme and a hint of sulphur from the casks. A deeper and more robust expression of the distillery style.

Matured entirely in first fill sherry seasoned casks before being specially selected by Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion for the new Glenrothes Soleo range. Bottled at 48.8%, this higher, complimentary strength is Gordon Motions 'preferred cut' and really showcases the trademark Glenrothes sherry casks style. Candied orange peel and fresh oak aromas are complimented by a rich and creamy palate with more of that orange peel note developing alongside toffee and dried fruit. Long and fruity on the finish with hints of lingering nutmeg.
