The 10 year old is matured mostly in bourbon casks, emphasising the distillery's character.

The 100 proof 10 year old is considered by many to be Springbank in it's purest form with its salty, briny flavour.

The 15 year old, matured in sherry casks, is a fine after-dinner dram full of sweet, rich flavours like dark chocolate and raisins.

Ardbeg Supernova 2010

Supernova is back by popular demand.

The new 2010 expression is out of this world – even deeper, stronger and earthier than the award-winning 2009 edition.

First released in 2009 to wide acclaim, Ardbeg Supernova single-malt whisky grabbed the attention of connoisseurs worldwide.

Now, Supernova has returned with a new limited release.

For those who missed the original, the peatiness is over-the-top with the taste of Scotland's western coast lingering in the mouth an hour after finishing the dram.

It doesn't seem possible, but Ardbeg master distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden says the taste this time around is even deeper and earthier, with the new expression up to 60.1 abv (120.2 proof).

It's easily one of the biggest tastes in single malt on the market.
