Glenfarclas is in the enviable position of having stock in cask for every year from 1952 to the current year. The Family Casks is an exciting new range of Glenfarclas expressions, a collection of the best single casks from the distillery’s warehouses, bottled at Cask Strength and at natural colour. Initially the collection comprises 43 different bottlings, with one cask from each year from 1952 to 1994. The Family Casks collection is unique; no other distillery can or has been able to offer single cask bottlings from so many consecutive years.

Each bottling is presented in a bespoke clear flint bottle, bespoke oak gift box, and accompanied by a booklet with a history of the distillery written by John Grant, and tasting notes by George Grant.

Pricing, whilst partly based on age, has also taken into account the type of cask, and stocks of that age. As single casks, bottled at cask strength, and with a higher value presentation, there is a premium compared to a regular bottling of a similar age. Understandably these bottlings will also be of very high interest for collecting/investing.
