This expression of Caol Ila was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail from first-fill Bouron Barrels and has a sweet cured meat aroma along with hints of vanilla, apple and ripe bananas. The palate is sweet with mango and orange zest flavours complemented by a lingering salty, peat smoke edge.

Bottled at just under 11 years of age and an astonishing 60.1% cask strength, this Caol Ila is a real beast - sherry notes with smoky ham, pineapple, kiwi and ripe banana. The smoke surges with hints of bonfires and thick peat smoke with more tropical fruit flavours. A total smoke bomb of a whisky.

Selected from a pair of neighbouring casks from the Caol Ila distillery on Islay, this 8 year old bottling by Signatory Vintage is a punchy dram, with loads of dry coastal bonfire peat smoke and sweet and tangy citric (particularly lime, citrus cordial) notes throughout, as is typical for Caol Ila of this age.
