This elegant malt from Gordon Macphail has a lovely fruity nose of apricot and pineapple with some zesty citrus notes. The taste is floral with citrus coming through with a hint of spiciness. A long finish that is creamy with pineapple and pear leaves a long lingering floral note.

Glencadam has been one of the Highland's most un-appreciated single malts, but since a packaging revamp back in 2009 and increase in abv to 46% the distillery seems to be gaining popularity. This 15 year old displays the delicate, elegant character, which is its signature, with more complexity and oak influence than the 10 year old.

Glencadam is known for being a lighter, more elegant, style of Highlander and after 21 years maturing in oak casks is has become even more refined. There are gentle, yet complex, notes of orange and citrus on the nose which carries through onto the palate with flavours of candied orange peel balanced with an underlying peppery oak character.
