The Hakushu distillery was founded in 1973 by Suntory, and up until recently has seldom been seen outside of Japan. The nose is light with cooked pears, herbal and grassy tones and a subtle, warming waft of peat smoke. An excellent example of the slightly smoky tones found in some Japanese whiskies.
Please note: Due to limited availability, this is strictly limited to one bottle per customer
Produced from a combination of different aged casks and styles of wood from the Hakushu distillery, the Distillers Reserve is a light and delicately smoky style of Japanese whisky. Grassy, herbal and fruity with a whiff of smoke in the background, this is a light and very easy drinking single malt whisky.
