Understanding the label:
When looking at a SMWS label, you will see that each distillery and each cask has a unique number. For example, SMWS 3.256 'Hebridean holiday tingle' comes from distillery 3, and this is the 256th cask that the Society have bottled from this distillery. The age, cask type and strength of each whisky is displayed alongside a tasting note that is written to entice and tempt.
