Matured for 15 years in a refill ex-bourbon barrel, this Glencadam offers a spiced, gristy (malted barley) aroma, with cream soda and a buttery pastry scent. The palate is thick and oily, giving a honeycomb and vanilla flavour and oat biscuits. The finish is long and carries a cereal sweetness with a touch of wooded-spice (cinnamon).
