You must be of legal age (18 years or older) to use and order alcoholic goods from this online store. If you do not meet these requirements, it is illegal for you to place an order with us.
ORDERING & PAYMENT
Customers may place orders with us at any time, directly from the website. All credit card transactions that take place through this website are handled by PCI DSS compliant services which greatly increases the safety of your payment card data. Online transactions for credit cards are pre-authorized (also known as 'tipping') for the value of the order, however in situations where incorrect shipping rates or quantities are used, we are authorized to deduct or refund the difference as necesary.
Delivery is by Post Haste and will be carried out as soon as we can process your order, normally within 7 business days of ordering. All customer orders are carefully wrapped to ensure that products arrive safely and undamaged.

REFUNDS & RETURNS
Any refund and return or exchange is at our sole discretion. We will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act for any faulty goods, provided we are notified as soon as any defect or fault is found with the product(s).
PLEASE NOTE: When we send items overseas from NZ we do NOT re-fund duty or GST. All shipments overseas may be subject to Duty/Taxes in the country that they are destined for and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Orders over a certain value and/or being sent to certain countries may be require further proof of identity and/or be subject to payment by direct bank transfer.
Once goods sent from Whisky Galore leave New Zealand we take NO further responsibility for their safe arrival. Experience has shown us that despite our best efforts the way our parcels are treated vary immensly from country to country so we do not re-fund/replace or take any action for lost, damaged, missing or stolen goods once they leave New Zealand.
The name "Whisky Galore" will show up on cardholder statements for any transactions through this website.
