The lightly peated single malt located in the Highlands, Ardmore. Cadenhead have taken this Ardmore and finished it fresh Pinot Noir casks since 2020, adding a jammy, and dark character to the whisky, before being bottled at 11 years old and 46%. Big and grunty nose! Very meaty, candle smoke with some farmy notes in the background. Sticky strawberry jam opens on the palate, followed by caramelised sugar, salty cured ham, wine gums and soft tannis. The finish leaves you with burnt embers, cloves and a touch of smoke.
