Ardmore is a distillery, located in the eastern Highlands, that is known for producing a peated malt. This expression has the peaty characteristics but in a soft, delicate style. Behind the smoke there are aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and toasted malt. This all leads onto the palate with dark chocolate influences and a slightly peppery edge...
Ardmore 'Legacy' 40%
Made with 80% peated and 20% unpeated malt, this is an example of the distinctive style of whisky made at the Ardmore distillery. Amongst the peatiest and smokiest whiskies made on the mainland, it carries aromas of creamy toasted oak, caramel and sooty peat smoke which carries onto the palate with malt-cereal flavours, vanilla and spice.
