Balblair 'Gordon & MacPhail' 1993 / 2017 49.6%
Product Description

Region: Highland

Strength: 49.6%

Volume: 700ml

Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail under their cask strength series, this new release comes from a single 1st fill ex-sherry puncheon in the Highlands of Scotland. Filled from cask #1964, it absolutely bursts with rich sherry wood flavours: macerated dried fruits (fig, raisin, currants), demerara sugar and raspberry coulis. A lifting note of citrus comes through, leading to a chocolate and hazelnut finish that ends on charred, drying oak wood and spice. A big, old-fashioned sherry bomb from Balblair.
