Created to celebrate the history of Naval Rum, this limited edition release is a marriage of the four cornerstones of the Royal Navy Blend: Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad. Selected and carefully blended from some of rum's ancient and ghost distilleries through to modern distillers, all detailed on the back of each bottle, this is inspired by the daily rum ration served to sailors until 31 July 1970.
This is an incredibly complex rum, with an abundance of fresh spicy character - cinnamon sticks, nutmeg and a hint of Jamaican coffee. Fruity notes thread throughout, lime, bananas, grapefruit and raisins, with bitter dark chocolate and soft liquorice. This is a rare opportunity to try a style of rum that is seldom seen today, with just 5,000 bottles available worldwide.
