Tucked away in the scenic Southern Banffshire lies Braeval distillery, otherwise known as Braes of Glenlivet. Typically found within many Chivas Regal expressions, this particular 13 year old from North Star is a rare glimpse at this impressive spirit as a single malt. Bottled entirely from a single Oloroso Butt, this dram opens with a nose full of fresh stonefruit and buttery almond pastries, developing into chocolate chip biscuits and sweet citrus on the palate.
