This whisky from Bruichladdich is made from heavily peated barley that was entirely grown on Islay. This smoky Bruichladdich starts with earthy, tarred peat smoke on the nose. Lemon, grapes, and creamy vanilla notes follow. The palate has salty notes on the nose and lemon drops, ground white pepper, charcoal and apple sauce. Tar and brine are found on the finish along with coconut and tobacco notes.
