Daftmill 'Summer Batch' 2006 46%
Product Description

Region: Lowland

Strength: 46%

Volume: 700ml

The second release from Daftmill distillery, this is a small batch limited edition distilled in the Summer of 2006. Again, this release is typical of the lowland style, aromas of freshly baked Victoria sponge cake, curry leaves and cinder toffee, with tinned peaches and warm gorse flower developing. The notes continue on to the palate but are joined by lemon zest, molten honey on toast, marmalade and vanilla pods, with wood polish and marzipan appearing on the back palate. On the finish, waves of honey and spicy oak linger, with fruit-salad chews unfold. Only one of 1665 bottles, this is the a bottle worth getting your hands on!
