Dumbarton 'Gordon & MacPhail' 1975 / 45 years old 44%

Built in 1938, Dumbarton grain distillery was the largest of its kind in Scotland, producing a key component to blenders, notably Ballantines. During the downturn of the 1980's, it was eventually closed in 2002. This single cask selection from Gordon & MacPhail comes from 1975, matured for 45 years before bottling. Yielding just 93 bottles worldwide, this is an incredibly rare example from this long-lost grain distillery.
