Distilled at the Foursquare distillery in Barbados in 2009, this rum was selected for their famous 'Exceptional Cask Selection' series. As with previous releases, this was matured solely in ex-American oak bourbon barrels from a combination of pot and column still spirit. Typically these selections are very rich and dense, with nutty toasted flavours brown sugar and chocolate-coated brittle toffee. Bottled at 60% without the addition of any sweetner or colouring this is fantastic new addition from one of the rum world's superstar distilleries.
