The site of Glen Moray was first opened as a brewery back in 1828, before being converted into a distillery in 1897. Distilled in 2003 and matured for 18 years in a refill hogshead, Glen Moray’s slightly warmer and humid micro-climate assists in the spirits maturation. The nose is rich and bold, light spices, torched orange skin and fresh oak. The flavour profile is that of classic old Speyside whisky. Runny honey, golden syrup, malty cereal, vanilla and fresh lime. Long and intense finish, full of warming spice.
