In 1958 a pair of a new design of still was installed at the Glenburgie distillery in Speyside, and the spirit that ran through these 'Lomond' stills was named after the production manager at the time, William Craig. Glencraig was only produced for a short period of time, with stills being removed in 1981. Glencraig can be thought of as a distillery within a distillery, and since its closure there remains very few expressions available. This bottling from 2012 was selected by Gordon & MacPhail yielded just 170 bottles, filled from casks laid down in 1975.
