Glenfiddich 'Grand Couronne' 26 years old 43.8%

The latest release from the Glenfiddich distillery sees their iconic single whisky part-matured for an extended time in ex-Cognac casks from France. A vibrant and sweet nose, remiscent of fine, butter French pastries - tarte tatin and toasted oak. The palate is very rich and sweet, with brown sugar, spice and Cafe Creme. At 26 years of age, the finish holds its sweetness and is very long-lasting.
