Built on the outskirts of Keith, Glentauchers distillery is normally known for being a filler for blends but carries an earthy fruitiness. This single malt bottled by Cadenhead's is comprised of three different casks, 20% Oloroso sherry, 20% Manzanilla and 60% bourbon. Orange marmalade and lemon sherbet open on the nose, followed by browned toast. Heavier on the palate with dried fruits, sticky toffee pudding and malted rye bread. The finish has chocolate covered raisins, trail mix and creme brulee.
