Matured in a Ruby Port hogshead this 11 year old Glentauchers bottled by Infrequent Flyers has a beautifully rich auburn colour to it. Immediately on the nose are notes of sticky red fruits, reminiscent of Ribena. The palate is heavy and sweet with fruits; nectarines, apricots, plums, cranberries and red grapes. These are complimented by just a hint of ginger spice and rich notes of dark chocolate. An indulgent dram that leaves you with fresh strawberries and black pepper.
