Now a discontinued expression from Loch Lomond distillery, Inchfad was a heavily peated style from the mid-2000s. The name comes from an Island near Loch Lomond which is home to a ruined distillery. Distilled in 2007 and matured for 14 years in a single oloroso barrique with an outturn of 234 bottles. Ginger green tea on the nose, hot apple cider, toasted marshmallows from a campfire. The palate has lots of spice, black coffee, charred wood and smoked meats. An exciting bottling from North Star Spirits.
