Isle of Jura 'Signatory' 1992 / 29 years old 52.2%

A characterful treat from the Isle of Jura. Distilled in 1992 and matured for 29 long years in a single bourbon barrel, with a small outturn of 123 bottles. The nose is expressive, freshly cut hay, rose water, roasted nuts, tobacco and slightly rubbery. It carries on with a buttery texture on the palate, vanilla, honeyed cereal, Turkish delight, apple pie and old boots. Bottled at 52.2%, add a touch of water and watch this dram open up even further, a wonderful bottling from Signatory Vintage.
