From Kingsbarns distillery this single malt is distilled from locally grown barley in Fife and matured in Olorosso sherry butts from 100% American Oak. The nose brings rich fruit cake upfront with underlying notes of cinnamon, sweet berries, dark chocolate and a subtle maple syrup character. Pineapple cake bursts onto the palate with a dusting of cocoa, orange peel rich marmalde and cinnamon. The finish has lightly toasted nuts accompanied by dried fruit and warming spice.
