The flagship expression of the East Fife based Kingsbarns distillery, this inaugural release is the long time vision of the Wemyss family. Created using locally grown barley and matured in ex bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill distillery in Kentucky, the result is a light and fruity Lowland style dram. Initial notes of grapefruit on the nose with banana and creaming soda. Fruit salad develops into a rich toffee note on the palate with custard pastry and ginger syrup. A complex and distinctively Lowland dram.
