This Cadenhead bottling from the Knockdhu distillery has matured in three Hogshead barrels for 11 years and bottled at 54.7%. To start the nose has a hint of tannin from tea leaves and flint notes as well as a creaminess from raspberry ice cream. The palette has hints of pepper and watercress and a dry earthiness to it. The finish carries through the spiciness in the form of cardamom seeds and adds notes of peach stones.
