Larceny is a brand new bourbon to hit the shelves, coming from the Old Fitzgerald distillery (Heaven Hill) from small batches of six year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon casks. Larceny's mashbill features wheat as its secondary grain, making it softer and smoother compared to the more peppery rye-heavy bourbons. The nose is immediately toffee'd, with fresh bread, vanilla and butterscotch. The palate is rich in mouthfeel, with more caramel and buttery flavours, leading into a long finish.
