The long-awaited Longmorn 16 year old is finally on NZ shelves. Released in 2005 to replace the Longmorn 14, this whisky is seldom seen in NZ and we are delighted to have it back in stock. Chocolate and oranges are the hallmark of this great Speyside distillery, and it comes presented in one of the smartest bottles we've ever seen.

The Longmorn distillery in Speyside produced a complex, delicate and layered style of whisky, often with orange blossom honeysuckle, honey and home-baking notes that becomes citric and drying on the finish. A very long-lasting and complex whisky selected by Signatory Vintage from just two Hogshead casks and bottled and a natural strength of 52.7%.
Longmorn 'Gordon & MacPhail' 1983 / 2014 43%
Bottled by 'Gordon & MacPhail' in 2014 after been distilled way back in 1983, this Longmorn has sweet Sherry notes with hints of beeswax and stewed apples. On the palate there are hints of ripe banana, plum and a lingering milk chocolate edge.
