Millburn would be regarded as one of the rarest single malt bottlings available from Scotland today, with the vast majority of its production from 1807 to its closure in 1985 going to blends like Vat 69 and Cabinet. Millburn is a whisky that is seldom seen these days, and this is the first of its kind we have stocked. Distilled in 1974 and bottled 31 years later from a single cask, yielding just 246 bottles. Winter fruit aromas complimented by liquorice and fruit cake lead on to a creamy and well balanced palate. Orange shortbread and cereal flavours create a characterful dram.

A very hard to get bottling from one of Scotland's long lost distilleries. Founded in 1804 as 'Inverness Distillery', the name was changed to Millburn one hundred years later, before closing its doors for the final time in 1985.
