Port Dundas 'Signatory' 1996 / 24 years old 57.3%

Here we have Signatory giving us another whisky from a closed distillery, Port Dundas, which was closed and demolished in 2011, but this time it?s not a single malt but a single grain. Distilled in 1996, this single grain was matured for 24 long years in a single hogshead and bottled at 57.3%. Citrus peel, roasted nuts and desiccated coconut fill the senses, followed by scorched almonds, iced coffee, pepper and oak on the palate.
