A batch of three sherry butts from an unnamed Speyside distillery was used to create this single malt. The nose of sweet with notes of rum and raisin ice cream, pecan pie and caramel brittle. There is a warm spiciness on the palate reminiscent of cloves and mince pies dusted with icing sugar. Rich notes of boozy fruitcake drizzled in honey are joined by dried cranberries and hints of liquorice. Warming and sweetly intense, silky and rich this is an indulgent whisky full of flavour.
