Named after a loch just south of the Bunnahabhain distillery, Staoisha is the name given to Bunnahabhain's peated spirit. The nose opens with notes of nutty, malted barley, and burnt sugar - imagine peat-smoked candyfloss. Cured salty and smoky ham sits in the background with redcurrant jelly, finishing with a note of vinegar taffy and thick peat smoke.
