Strathmill 'Signatory' 1996 / 22 years old 55.8%

Strathmill 'Signatory' 1996 / 22 years old 55.8%
Product Description

Region: Speyside

Strength: 55.8%

Volume: 700ml

This bottling of rarely seen Strathmill comes to us from Signatory Vintage. Only 189 bottles were filled from the single ex-American hogshead after 22 years old maturation. Strathmill is a fascinating distillery converted from a mill (as the name suggests) with a long fermentation, and purifiers contributing to a fruity, zesty make with an oily body. This bottling has great colour suggesting strong impact from the American oak cask, conveying honey, summer fruit and vanilla notes.
