Teaninich distillery, is known predominantly as a component in multiple blends, however, while it is rare, we do occasionally see it come through as an indepently bottled expression. This expression in particular, bottled by North Star Spirits has been aged for twelve years and bottled from a single ex Olorosso Hogshead cask.
the nose is rather thick and rich, with notes of caramel sweets, nougat, toffee and hazelnuts.
The palate is rather dry compared to the nose, notes of wood bitters, dried fruit and hints of nuttiness and grassy notes.
The finish is long and drying, with fuit notes lingering.
