Unusually for whiskies bottles in the Old Malt Cask range this Tormore has been bottled at a natural cask strength of 47.3% rather than the standard 50%. This is due to the 24 years it has been matured for in a refill hogshead. The nose is mellow with tropical notes of melon and pineapple and sweet caramel. An elegant whisky on the palate that is creamy and malty with subtle orange citrus. A lingering finish that is sweet with indulgent fruity notes.
