Here we have a mysterious undisclosed Orkney, 18 years old and finished in a Ruby port cask, giving an interesting combination of flavours for this single malt. Orchard fruits and dark chocolate flood the senses, ending with sticky jam and a saline note. Lots of stone fruits enter the palate, apricots, plums, the texture is chewy like salted toffee, tangy cranberry, then finishing up with dark chocolate and a hint of rosemary.
