Those familiar with distilling on the Northern island of Orkney will know there's only two possible sources for this undisclosed dram from Signatory - and there's seldom whisky bottled from Scapa! Drawn from a vatting of 13-year-old hogsheads, this whisky brings a nose full of salted caramel toffee and buttery shortbread, with a touch of lemon zest and earthy notes. Malty and rich on the palate, with subtle coastal salt pairing with freshly-baked tan square, leaving a waxy and warm finish packed with orange peels and toasted biscuits.
