Filled from a very active ex-Oloroso sherry cask, this Ben Nevis is a classic Adelphi selection - cask-forward, heavy and complex.

Colour: Mahogany.

Nose: Shoe polish, black olives, prunes, figs, black treacle, molasses, Soreen malt loaf, toffee apple, clove, burnt gingerbread.

Palate: Candied bacon, chewing tobacco, Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, , star anise, cold brew coffee, pumpernickel, Christmas orange.

Finish: Long, rich, spiced. Reminiscent of mulled wine.
