This expression, distilled in 2012, has been aged for ten years and finished in a Madeira Hogshead cask before being bottled at cask strength, in this case 61.1%

there is a rather unusual note of burnt rubber on the nose, followed by savory notes of Marmite as well as some earthy and vegetal notes.

the Palate is far sweeter, thanks to the Maderia cask influence. thick honey drizzled on brioche bread, spun sugar and chewy dark toffee, rounded off with a sweet, spicy finish.
