2015 marked a big change to the spirit style at Dailuaine, shifting to a much more waxy style, mostly due to fill the gap created by the Clynelish distillery's refurbishment in the same year.
Nose: Linseed oil, polish, beewax, salty biscuits, hot pumpernickel with salty butter, Soreen loaf, table tennis racket, stollen, panettone, key-lime pie with graham cracker crust, cola cubes.
Palate: Red cola, waxy! Greasy flapjacks, melted butter, oily, bourbon-soaked cherries, vermouth, Angostura bitters, red grapefruit, Maraschino cherry syrup, iced doughnuts, Grand Marnier, gingerbread dough, liquor coffee, chicory coffee.
