Distilled in 1996 and matured for 25 years in a refill sherry butt, this single cask chosen by Gordon & MacPhail has been bottled as part of their ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ range. The nose is bright with notes of raspberry and strawberry liquorice, hints of citrus peel, sweet toffee and soft spice. Baked apples open the palate accompanied by stewed raisins and hints and menthol. Blackcurrants mingle with an array of mixed herbs, before leaving you on the finish with toasted almonds and rich forest fruits.
