This release from Glenlivet Distillery is the 'Caribbean Reserve'. This whisky has been finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum. The nose offers notes of pears, ripe bananas, and red apples. The palate develops into notes of caramel toffee and tropical fruit.

A new introduction to the Glenlivet range, the 'Founder's Reserve' is a classic Glenlivet - approachable, soft and gentle. There are fruity vanilla notes on the nose that carry onto the palate with flavours of toffee apple and sweet oaky spice all leading to a smooth, creamy finish. This gift set comes packaged with two branded glasses.

Coming from one of the worlds truly iconic distilleries, The Glenlivet 15 years old has been matured in the finest Limousin French oak barrels which gives it a spicy edge to the usual floral, fruity tones of Glenlivet. The palate is rich, with buttery shortbread, a hint of vanilla and fudge, yet it isn't overwhelmingly sweet thanks to the notes of warming spices. A timeless classic from one of the originals.

Named for Captain William who was informed of his inheritance of The Glenlivet distillery while deployed in France during WW1, this new whisky is fittingly finished in ex-cognac casks. Sweet and fruity to start, it builds to honeyed and apricot jam notes, with cinnamon bread and a subtle spicy liqourice note. The palate is succulent, with mandarins, ripe poached pears and flavours of chocolate coated raisins from the cognac casks.

The Glenlivet's 12 year old single malt, one of the most famous whiskies in the world, indtroducing many to the joys of Scotch whisky. It has a soft, fruity nose with notes of vanilla and sweet spice, leading onto the palate with more fruit flavours including green apple and pineapple. One of the truly iconic whiskies of the world.

Glenlivet's 18 year old single malt is crafted by combining several different cask types to produce a rich and complex dram. American and European Oak, first and second fill, all play their parts. First-fill American Oak adds tropical fruitiness whilst the European Oak imparts spicy hints and brings additional complexity.

This ancient single cask bottling comes from arguably the most famous distillery in Scotland, The Glenlivet, and was filled, selected and bottled exclusively by Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in 1954, this cask has sat undisturbed for 64 years, under the supervision of 2 generations of the Urquhart family, owners of Gordon & MacPhail. At 41% ABV, this cask has slowly shed its alcohol strength over 5 decades - any longer in the cask this could well have been lost to evaporation. Among the millions of casks maturing in Scotland, an incredibly small quantity will ever achieve a maturation period as long as this.

Cask #1412, ex-refill sherry butt. Filled 15th April 1954, bottled 27th April 2018. Outturn, just 222 bottles.

As the stocks from this era continue to evaporate and become extinct, G&M are one of the only companies in the world able to mature and bottle such remarkable liquid history.
