Glenlossie 'Signatory' 100 Proof 12 years old 57.1%

The little-known Glenlossie distillery sits in Northern Strathspey, between Elgin and and Rothes. Selected from first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels, this new release is a rich and heavy treat, with lashings of chocolate and malt flavours - digestive biscuits and maltesers come to mind. A heavy toffee and caramel flavour comes through, along with black tea and walnuts in the finish.
