We invite you and your friends to join us at one of our whisky tasting events - from beginner friendly sessions through to the most in-depth and exclusive, our whisky events are educational, fun and social events where everyone is welcome.
Christchurch is our home, with the majority of events are based in our dedicated tasting room, The Howff. We are also out on the road around the country, sometimes with special guests from Scotland and further afield.
To celebrate the upcoming 200th anniversary of the Edradour distillery in Scotland, we are hosting a very special whisky & cheese tasting featuring Whitestone Cheese of Oamaru. Join us for an evening of casks and curds, with an exciting selection of drams from 'Scotlands wee gem' distillery, and guest speaker Simon Berry, a member of the founding Berry family of Whitestone Cheese.

Blackadder independent bottlers
Join us to learn more about the story behind Blackadder, independent bottlers of Scotch whisky since 1995. New Zealand's distributor for the brand, Sunny Parihar, will be on hand to guide you through his range of whiskies, and to tell you all about their unique approach to filtration and bottling.

This is not a ticketed or formal event, you are invited to drop in and have a dram as guests of Blackadder.
'A Wee Dram' Tastings
Our dedicated tasting room is available for small groups of 2-6 people for a more individual whisky tasting experience. Join one of our hosts as they take you through a specially selected lineup of 3 whiskies over the course of 40 minutes.
