Williamson 'BBR' 2013 #214 58.1%
While the distillery is not disclosed on the label, the name Williamson points to this whisky being named after the one and only Bessie Williamson, legendary distillery manager of Laphroaig from the 1950's to the 1970's. Islay fans will find this instantly recognisable with an aroma of damp earth and billowing, coastal smoke.,This Laphroaig has great depth below the smokyness, with chocolate coated nuts and tart dried apricot. Laced with soot and oceanic smoke in the finish, as it should be.
