Lochlea 6 years old 50%

This new expression is the oldest release to date from the Lochlea farm distillery, selected from just six casks of 6 year old whisky. The dark colour and initially rich fruit flavours of fig and red grapes show their influence from the 3 ex-sherry casks, with vanilla custard, malt biscuit and honey notes coming from the 3 ex-bourbon barrels. Together, these casks show the impressive flavour and character that has been developing at Lochlea.
