Daftmill 'Summer 2012 Vintage' 46%

With an annual production of just 100 or so casks a year, the Daftmill distillery in Fife is one of Scotland's smallest producers of single malt. For this release Francis and his brother have grown Concerto barley at their farm in 2011, with the resulting spirit from 2012 matured in first-fill ex-American oak barrels. Carrying Daftmill's signature of vibrant citrus oils and peel, a contrasting syrupy sweetness joins tropical fruits and biscuity, buttery malted barley.
