Meikle Toir 'Turbo' 2025 Release 50%

The 2025 release of Meikle Toir 'Turbo' from GlenAllachie was made using super-heavily-peated barley at a searing 72 PPM. Selected from a combination of five American virgin oak casks and four Oloroso hogsheads, this is not just liquid peat, the distillery character remains, with heather honey, butterscotch and orange peel battling for attention underneath the layers of smoke. The finish is rich with dark chocolate and plum conserve. One of the most heavily peated mainland whiskies made in Scotland.
